Dorothy's Grape Sherbet |

| 3 cups sugar | 1 tsp. vanilla |
| 2 pints milk | 1 1/2 pint grape juice |
| 1/2 tsp. salt | 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice |
| 1 pint half & half | |
Combine first 5 ingredients and chill. Then add grape juice, lemon
juice. Fill freezer can 3/4 full and freeze according to freezer
directions. If you want to use a counter top freezer just half the
recipe. Yield: 3 quarts
